- About 2 ¼ lb. potatoes (1 kg)

- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions for Draniki
- Grate the potatoes using a coarse grater, and squeeze out excess liquid. (You can grate with a fine grater, but the coarse side will make your draniki extra crispy).
- Grate onion and garlic with the fine side of the grater.
- Add flour, egg, salt, and pepper to the other ingredients. Mix together.
- Form patties, and fry in the oil. Two minutes on each side.
- Serve with sour cream, fried mushrooms or fried onions, and fresh herbs, like dill or parsley.
