- ½ small head of cauliflower
- 1 ½ tbsp. chickpea flour (don’t even think about replacing it with wheat!)
- 1 tbsp. curry powder
- Chili powder, to taste
- A pinch of turmeric, for color
- Black cumin seeds (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for deep-frying

- Divide the cauliflower into small florets. Place them in a pot filled with cold water, bring to a boil, and drain.
- Mix the flour and spices together, then slowly add water, stirring the dough constantly to avoid lumps. The end result should be thicker than pancake batter.
- Mix the cauliflower into the dough.
- Heat oil for deep-frying.
- Scoop up a spoonful of the dough mixture, and fry it in the oil until it’s golden-brown. Repeat. It should only take a few minutes to fry all the cauliflower.
- Let your fried cauliflower drain on a paper towel, and serve warm.
